Our daughter received a lot of support from Jolanda. She coaches thoroughly in terms of content, her communication is clear, both with us (parents) and with the teacher. This provides clarity for all parties: where we stand, what we are working towards. And of course it is important that Jolanda looks very carefully at what children need to be able to overcome the threshold. For our daughter, math was suddenly no longer so exciting. That also boosted her self-confidence. She has improved by leaps and bounds!

About me
After a career in business (8 years Unilever and 6 years as headhunter at Executive Search agency Korn Ferry International), I changed course, because I wanted to work with children.
In 2012 I followed the postgraduate course
Master Special Educational Needs (Master SEN)
and successfully completed it.
In 2015 I started my own RT practice and since 2016 I have been registered with the
National Professional Association for Remedial Teachers (LBRT).
I accompany pupils both at my home and at various schools in the area including
Montessorischool,
Noordwijkse School and
De Witte School in Noordwijk,
The American School of The Hague in Wassenaar and
Winford in Leiden.
I specialize in children with (severe) reading and / or spelling problems or dyslexia as well as children with (serious) math problems or dyscalculia. I also supervise many children who, besides learning problems, have behavioral and / or socio-emotional problems, for example:
- ASS
- ADHD
- ADD
- NLD
- Fear of failure
- Concentration problems
- Giftedness
My other specializations:
- RD4 diagnostics (a diagnostic tool that provides insight into the calculation level of a student, both at the group level and at the level of action)
- Op weg naar rekenen (is an evidence-based remedial program that focuses on preschoolers (ages 4–6) who struggle with early math skills)
- Taal in Blokjes (an intervention package for supporting students who have difficulty learning to read and spell).

Cancellation policy
Cancellation of an appointment is free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. Otherwise the treatment time will be charged.
Payment options
- - Cash: cash or electronic banking against delivery of proof of payment.
- - On account: invoices are sent at the end of the month with a payment term of 10 days.
